The ACE Program

All City Elementary (K-5) is a tuition free public school offering a choice for parents to be actively involved in their children's education. All City Elementary (ACE) has been a part of the Sioux Falls Public School system since 1974. ACE students come from all parts of Sioux Falls and represent diverse backgrounds. ACE consists of one section of each grade, which fosters a strong sense of community among parents, staff, and students. Due to the high degree of parent commitment, the close home-school communication, and the excellent instructional program, ACE students are consistently successful academically.
ACE is the only specialized school that incorporates parents into their classrooms. Daily instruction is enhanced with the parental involvement and the extra knowledge and background parents bring to the program. All City provides a strong academic program by using real world experiences, community service, drama, and technology. Strong parental involvement enables the instructional program to meet the needs of the total child through active, experiential, and collaborative learning.
ACE Mission
All City Elementary is dedicated to creating a community of learners: children, teachers, parents, and other adults working together to maximize individual success in a changing world.
High Standards of Academic Achievement
All City provides a unique learning environment where children can excel in all aspects of their education. The commitment time served by parents is a true investment in their child’s education.
Classroom "Family" Activities
K-5 students spend time together weekly in various activities. Some activities tie into a year long theme for the school. Past themes have been: Live Strong, Bucket Fillers, and Pyramid of Success.
Monthly Choice Activites
Choice Days are special learning experiences provided by All City parents for all students each month. Choice Days may be field trips, craft projects, guest speakers, sports or many other activities chosen with learning as a guiding force.
